Waker

Terms of Use

Last updated: July 29, 2026

By downloading or using Waker (the "App"), you agree to these terms.

1. What the App does — and what it doesn't promise

Waker is an alarm clock that keeps re-ringing until your iPhone's camera has verified a morning mission: push-ups, squats, a plank hold, or a photo of a household object the App picks at random when the alarm goes off. An unfinished mission stops ringing on its own after about 30 minutes.

It is a convenience and motivation tool, not a safety-critical system: do not rely on it as your only safeguard for situations where oversleeping could cause harm or loss. Alarms depend on your device being on, charged, with the ringer volume up and alarm authorization granted — conditions the App checks where it can but cannot guarantee. Because iOS gives the ring the system's own volume, it can be turned down with the hardware buttons; the App cannot prevent that.

2. Health disclaimer

The exercise missions are exercise. The App provides no medical advice. Consult a professional before starting an exercise routine if you have any condition that makes exercise risky, and stop if something hurts. You can set any mission to as little as one repetition, or choose the object-photo mission, which asks for no exercise at all.

3. Subscription

Waker Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (currently $49.99/year or $7.99/week, or the equivalent in your local currency; the prices shown in the App for your region are the ones that apply). Some offers open with a 3-day free trial — the price, the billing period, and any trial are always shown on the subscription screen before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically until canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Manage or restore purchases from the paywall or Profile. Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms.

A lapsed subscription never disables alarms you already scheduled — it only gates creating or changing alarms.

4. Acceptable use

Don't reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the App, and don't use it to violate anyone's rights. The App and its content are licensed to you, not sold, for personal use on Apple devices you own or control, per the standard Apple EULA.

5. Privacy

Camera processing is fully on-device; see the Privacy Policy for the complete picture.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" without warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are published at this URL with an updated date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
